Now that Halloween has passed we all look forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas in Union County NC. We have compiled a list of things for you and your family to do right here in Union County.
MISTLETOE MADNESS

We are opening the doors to our Family Life Center for an evening of one-stop shopping for the Christmas season. Area vendors will be setting up shop and selling everything from baked goods, jewelry, makeup, handbags, Christmas decor and so much more!!
The Indian Trail NC Christmas Parade
The Union West Rotary of Indian Trail produces the annual Christmas Parade. This parade is held on the Sunday Nov. 29th at 2pm . This parade route goes through the downtown of Indian Trail on Indian Trail Road.
The Indian Trail NC Christmas Tree Lighting
Come see the lighting of the Christmas Tree on the front lawn of the Town Hall as the Christmas Season begins. This annual event will be held on December 2nd 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Last year families enjoyed warm apple cider and hot s’mores from the bonfire as they listened to caroling from the local high school choir. Santa Clause even came on fire truck and was able to light the tree with the help of the children.

The Tenth Annual Unionville NC Christmas Tree Lighting
Sunday, December 6, 2009 beginning at 5:00 pm. Come enjoy musical guests, the Piedmont High School Women’s Ensemble, hot chocolate and other refreshments, and a special visit from Santa Claus.
This year marks the First Annual Unionville American Legion Post 535 Christmas parade beginning at 4:00 prior to the tree-lighting
